A domestic violence facility for
women and children located at 236 Bronson Avenue.
Volunteers are encouraged to assist with such
services as DSS referrals, substance abuse
treatment, parenting education, household
management and values instruction, religious
education and health education.

An interdisciplinary approach to
ministry which addresses multifaceted issues
specifically related to the spiritual needs of
men in the church and community. All men from 18
years and older are encouraged to join the
Fellowship on Thursdays at 6:00 p.m sharp.
Support groups are offered o a regularly
scheduled basis.

For persons suffering from AIDS
and HIV infection, this ministry offers support,
counseling and spiritual renewal. Persons from
the community are also encouraged to join.

A ministry for substance abuse
and alcohol dependent individuals who seek total
deliverance from these addictions. One session of
Project Spirit is held on Fridays at 7:00 p.m.
and meets at the church. The Serenity Bible (12
Step Program) is the program used in this support
group. Additional program components include
referrals, counseling, and prayer.

Zion Hill Church is located in
the poorest area of Monroe County where
homelessness and hunger have reached epidemic
proportions. In response to this serious need,
our church, along with Action for a Better
Community, sponsors a community breakfast program
each Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00
a.m. Approximately 400 persons are fed on a
weekly basis.

A free lunch program for children
from ages 3 through 16 years old. Monday through
Friday, children are provided nutritionally
balanced meals in lieu of the school lunch
program.

A free Breakfast program for
children ages 3 through 12 that provides a
nutritious meal on Saturday and Sunday morning
from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

The emergency food cupboard
provides assistance to families who have run out
of food due to exceptional circumstances.

A ministry for women of all ages
who are victims of physical, emotional and sexual
abuse. Two 12-week sessions are held each year
(spring and fall). It is a confidential group
which meets on Saturdays at 12:00 noon.

Evangelism, Bible Study, and
worship are the major program objectives of this
ministry. The Albion Correctional Facility for
Women and the Monroe County Jail are the program
sites.
Additionally, the Prison Bus
Service transports families to prisons located in
remote areas of New York.

This ministry is called the
"conscience of the community." Position
papers, press conferences, workshops and
conferences are sponsored in order to counteract
systemic bias and prejudice against poor people.

Our focus is to offer support and
encouragement to women. Each weekly meeting
consists of steps and meditation passages to help
identify concerns and biblical scriptures to help
us understand what God is calling us to do about
these concerns.
Also, each month there are
schedules, workshops, open discussions and
Christian video nights. Meetings are held Fridays
at 6:00 pm at Zion Hill, room #12.
